Urban Agriculture

Decentralized Urban Agriculture

In order to provide for a rapidly growing population, new means of food production are necessary to sustain an ever growing global demand. New forms of agriculture such as Hydroponic, Aeroponics and Aquaponics offer sustainable means of cultivating plants in urban environments. These highly water-efficient systems are not limited by environmental factors and produce nutrient dense produce at faster rates than conventional farming methods. Through developing small scale, low cost systems that can be implemented within local restaurants, schools and community parks, we can successfully bridge the gap from farm to table.
